What did God see when Christ died on the cross?

When Christ died, God saw every one of us on the cross in the person of Christ. He died in our place, and God saw you and me crucified with Christ. That is what Galatians 2 means: 'I have been crucified with Christ.'

Les explains that when Christ died, God saw every one of us on the cross in the person of Christ. He died in our place, so God saw you and I crucified, which is what Galatians 2 means by 'I have been crucified with Christ.' Les further teaches that just as God saw us on the cross, He saw us in the tomb, buried with Him—not by water, but by God's determination—and also resurrected with Him to new life. This identification is a God thing, accomplished in the invisible realm.

Romans 6:3

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
