What did God see when Christ died on the Roman cross?

At the Roman cross, God saw every believer of all the ages in Christ. Because God Himself was there on the cross and is eternal, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ are contemporary with us, so the old Adam of every believer was crucified with Him.

Les teaches that a gentleman once asked him what he had to do with someone who died almost 2,000 years ago, a logical question for many people. Les explains that it has everything to do with us today because it was God Himself who was there on the cross. Since God is eternal, 2,000 years is like a snap of the finger to Him, so Christ's death, burial, and resurrection are almost contemporary with us. Returning to Romans 6:6, our old Adam is crucified with Christ, and as Christ died on that Roman cross, God saw every believer of all the ages in Christ.

Romans 6:6

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
