When Christ died, was buried, and rose, who did God see with Him?

God saw you and I with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. In the crucifixion, tomb, and resurrection, the believer was identified with Him, so that we are raised together and seated together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus.

Les teaches that when Christ was on the cross, God saw you and I there with Him. When He was in the tomb, God saw you and I there with Him. And as He rose from the dead in resurrection power, you and I were in there with Him. This means believers have been raised, resurrected out of that deadness, and made to sit together in the heavenlies. Les emphasizes that believers are so special in God's sight simply because they believe the gospel that He considers them already seated with Him in the heavenlies, and hence we wait for Him to come and take us to Himself. He also notes the comfort that loved ones who were believers are in His presence, already seated in the heavenlies, so we do not have to fear death, because they can kill the body, but they cannot kill that which is already a citizen of heaven. Even when we were dead in sins, He hath quickened us together with Christ, and by grace we are saved, raised up together and made to sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus.
