What was the Tower of Babel?
The Tower of Babel was a pagan, ungodly place of worship. After the Flood, humanity again embraced every evil pagan concept of worship, and from Babel came all the immorality of the mythologies, gods, and goddesses. It represented a turning point, after which God found one man, Abram.
Les explains that after the destruction of the Flood, everything started cranking up again and headed down the same old road until they got to Babel. At that point people were ready to embrace every evil pagan concept of worship, and that is all the Tower of Babel was: a place of worship that was pagan and ungodly. Out of it came all the immorality of the mythologies, the gods and goddesses. God saw it all, but this time He said He would not destroy them; instead He would find one man, and He found Abram.
