What does the 430 years in Galatians 3:17 refer to?

The 430 years in Galatians 3:17 refers to the period from when Abram left Haran and went down into Canaan until Moses led the children of Israel out and they received the Law at Mount Sinai. It thus spans from Abram's departure to Israel receiving the Law.

Les teaches that in the previous program they were looking at that 430 years which transpired from the time Abram left Haran and went down into Canaan until Moses led the children of Israel out, and they went and received the Law at Mount Sinai. He then jumps right into Galatians chapter 3 and verse 17, and after that moves on to verse 18, which begins, "For if the inheritance be of the Law."
