What does it take to keep the whole law for salvation?

Keeping the whole law for salvation requires keeping it to the last iota, and the only way was to have a temple, the priesthood, and the sacrifice. Even then it could not be accomplished, because no one is justified by the law; the just live by faith plus nothing.

Les explains that if a person wants to keep the Law for salvation, they must keep it to the last iota. He illustrates this through a relatively new believer who told a neighbor that if you are going to keep the Law, you had better have a temple, find a priest, and buy a herd of sheep. Les agrees, saying the only way they could keep the Law was with the temple, the priesthood, and the sacrifice. Yet even then they could not accomplish it, because it is impossible. He also cites that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God; the just shall live by faith plus nothing, and the law is not of faith.

Galatians 3:12

And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
