Does God's standard of evil change over time?

God’s moral standard is unchanging. The same sins He forbade Israel in Leviticus remain just as wicked today as they were then. What changed is not His definition of evil but the legal context; believers are still called to abhor evil and cleave to good.

Les explains that one of the failures of Christianity today is that it no longer shows hatred for evil but rolls with it, condones it, and says nothing can be done. He insists we are to never stop abhorring that which is evil. He says he does not have to point out specific sins because teaching the Book will show people what God calls evil. Going back to Leviticus reveals what God forbade Israel. Yet God has not changed: the same wicked sins are just as wicked today as they were then, though not in the same legal context. Les also warns that Western civilization, perhaps the whole world, is being brainwashed into calling black white, evil good, and good evil—a ploy of Satan and part of an end-time conspiracy preparing the world for the Antichrist.
