Does each member of the Godhead have mind, will, and emotion?

Yes. Scripture supports that God the Father has mind, will, and emotion; God the Son has mind, will, and emotion; and God the Holy Spirit is a person who also has mind, will, and emotion. These three aspects constitute personality, so each member of the Godhead possesses them.

Les explains that mind, will, and emotion are invisible aspects of our innermost being—the seat of will and emotions that makes up the real person. He then applies this to the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit each have mind, will, and emotion, and the Holy Spirit is a person. That is what makes personality, and in that area we were created in God’s image. When God created Adam, He gave him an invisible personality and a spirit concept to connect him with his Creator for fellowship.
