When did the Body of Christ start being called out?
The Body of Christ began being called out in the interval from the time of the early Acts, especially with the beginning of Paul's ministry. Members enter this Body by faith plus nothing, unlike those before the cross who came by faith plus sacrifice.
Les explains that the present interval runs from the time of the early Acts, and he thinks the Body of Christ is being called out especially with the beginning of Paul's ministry. He contrasts this with the earlier period from Adam through Abraham, where people came into a right relationship with God by faith plus sacrifice, not faith alone. For the Body of Christ, membership is by faith plus nothing, just as Abraham was made righteous by faith plus nothing.
