Why is everything in prophecy and world politics centered on Israel?

Les explains that the question about the Middle East keeps arising in almost every class since August, and he repeats that the answer remains the same. He teaches that everything prophetically, everything biblically, and everything in world politics is centered on the little nation of Israel. This is why Israel seems to be front-page news in almost every newspaper and weekly news magazine, and why all prophecy is centered on Israel, especially the Middle East. The only way to consider the whole Middle East dilemma is to ask where Israel comes in. Hussein has made it clear that he cannot negotiate unless the Palestinian and Israeli problem is settled.
