Les Feldick Bible Study

Why can Les take his stand without compromise?

He can take his stand without compromise because he is responsible to only one—the author of this book. He never taught for monetary return, so he does not fear whether people like or dislike his teaching. That freedom lets him stand firm on these things without compromise.

Les explains that he stands alone on certain points, such as refusing to call Jewish believers Christians because the Bible does not. He has always told his classes he never taught anywhere—classes or television—with any idea of monetary return, so he does not worry whether people like it or not. He told one gentleman it was fine if he did not want to come back, and it was no skin off his nose; the man later returned and became one of his best students. Les feels the same way even here: he can take his stand without compromise because he is responsible to only one, the author of this book, and he handles it realizing what a tremendous responsibility it is.
