What did God give to Paul?
God gave Paul the doctrines of grace, which are embedded in the Mysteries. Paul was not instructed to take them to Israel, but to the Gentiles and Jews. This marked a change from the Law given through Moses to Israel, as God now dealt with a different individual.
Les explains that just as God gave Moses the Law at Mount Sinai, and Moses took it down to Israel, with only Israel receiving the ramifications of the Law, so now 1500 years later God gave Paul the doctrines of grace. These doctrines are embedded in what Paul calls the Mysteries. Paul was not instructed to take them to the nation of Israel, but to take them far hence to the Gentiles and also the Jews. Les teaches this answers what part of Scripture we depend on, while affirming all of God's Word is inspired. He points to Romans 11:13 as plain confirmation that Paul is the Apostle of the Gentiles.
