Where did the resurrected Lord send Paul according to Acts 22:21?

According to Acts 22:21, the resurrected, ascended Lord told Paul to depart from Jerusalem, declaring, “I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles.” Paul’s apostolic commission was therefore not to remain in Jerusalem but to go far away to the Gentiles.

Les explains that while Paul was praying in the temple, he fell into a trance and saw the resurrected, ascended Lord speaking to him. The Lord first told him to make haste and get quickly out of Jerusalem because they would not receive his testimony concerning Him. Paul then recounted how he had imprisoned and beaten believers in every synagogue, and how he had consented to Stephen’s death and held the raiment of those who slew him. Then the resurrected, ascended Lord said, “Depart from Jerusalem, for I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles.” Les emphasizes how clear this is, showing Paul’s commission was to go far away to the Gentiles, not to remain in Jerusalem.
