Les Feldick Bible Study

Who is Grace directed to — Israel, the Gentiles, or both?

Grace is not confined to the nation of Israel. It is primarily directed to the Gentiles, but it also includes the Jew. So it goes to both Gentiles and Jews, with a primary focus on the Gentiles, as revealed through Paul's apostleship and the doctrines of Grace.

Les explains the vast difference between Law and Grace. The Law was given to Moses and delivered to the nation of Israel; it was Israel's mode of operation, not the rest of the world, though Romans 3 shows all the world came under the condemnation power of the Law. In Galatians, Paul is the central character, and to him were revealed the doctrines of Grace. Grace is not confined to Israel but is primarily to the Gentiles, while also including the Jew.
