Were the early chapters of Acts addressed to Israel or to the Gentiles?

The early chapters of Acts are addressed to the nation of Israel, not to Gentiles. There is no mention of Gentiles whatsoever in those chapters. All the language is Jewish, and everything takes place in Jerusalem. This is contrary to tradition.

Les teaches that, contrary to tradition, all of the early chapters of Acts remain directed to the nation of Israel. He stresses there is no mention of Gentiles whatsoever in that section. The language is Jewish, and the events occur in Jerusalem. In chapter 6, Stephen is brought before Israel’s religious leaders, the consul of the synagogue, and his face appears as an angel.
