What is true prophecy in the Old Testament?
True prophecy in the Old Testament is telling the future. Almost always, when God made a promise, He placed it within a specific time frame. He is so explicit that He will name the day and the number of years involved in that particular prophecy.
Les teaches that the period from Abraham to the church age is called the time of prophecy, the prophetic program, or the Old Testament program. In that program, true prophecy is telling the future, and almost always when God made a promise, He set it in a time frame. God is so explicit about the future that He names the day and the number of years involved in that particular prophecy.
