How does Christ's baptism show the three persons of the Godhead?

At Christ's baptism, God the Father spoke and said, 'This is my beloved Son,' and the Holy Spirit came down. This event manifests the three persons of the Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—all present together, showing them as co-equal.

Les ties this to the verse in II Corinthians where all three persons are mentioned together—the communion of the Holy Spirit, along with the Father and Son. He points back to Christ's baptism as another clear manifestation: the Father spoke, saying, 'This is my beloved Son,' and the Holy Spirit came down. Thus the three persons of the Godhead are shown to be co-equal.
