Will God allow anyone to boast in His presence?

No. The Scripture declares that no flesh should glory, boast, brag, or get puffed up in God's presence. God will not have it. But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption—all accomplished by God, so no man can take credit.

Les teaches that God deliberately chose the weak things of the world, the base and despised things, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are. The purpose is that no flesh should glory, boast, brag, or get puffed up in His presence—God won't have it. Instead, of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Les emphasizes these are all things God accomplished, and no man can take credit for them. He also admits he is a nothing and a nobody, and says that is why God has seen fit to use him, because God does not use what the world thinks is proper and rightly fitted for service.

1 Corinthians 1:29

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

The reason God will not share His glory with anyone is that no flesh — no human being — will ever glory or brag in God's sight; God simply won't have it.

Why does God make sure no one can boast before Him?
