Will God allow any human being to glory in His sight?

No. Scripture states that no flesh—no human being—will ever glory or brag in God's sight; God won't have it. Consequently, He will not use people with seemingly all the right credentials, because when successful they would be prone to say, 'Look what I did.'

Les explains this from the verse: no flesh, no human being, will ever glory or brag in God's sight. God won't have it, so He will not use people who seem to have every credential—talent, high IQ, wealth, even billions—because when they succeed they would be prone to say, 'Look what I did.' Les points to Moses, asking why God did not use him when he was the second man in Egypt. He also recounts an Israeli man in 1975–76, after the Six-Day War, who said God had nothing to do with Israel's prosperity and claimed, 'We did it.' Les calls that typical human boasting, and insists they did not do it.

1 Corinthians 1:29
