What did Paul actually see when he got a glimpse of heaven?

Paul was caught up into paradise and given a full exposure to heaven’s glories. He saw its beauty and heard magnificent, unspeakable words that were not permitted or lawful for a man to utter. God allowed him to see and hear these things but told him he could not repeat them.

Les explains that Paul got a glimpse of heaven as we normally think of it, with all its beauty and no doubt all of its music. Paul evidently had a full exposure to all this: he saw the glories, he heard the magnificent things, and he was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words which it is not permitted or lawful for a man to utter. In other words, God said, “Alright Paul, I’m letting you see and hear, but you can’t repeat it. You have to keep it to yourself.” Paul then says that of such a one he would glory, yet of himself he would not glory but in his infirmities. He would not be foolish, remembering what God had instructed, and he forbore lest any man should think of him above what he saw or heard.

2 Corinthians 12:2

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
