When did Paul have his vision of the glories of Heaven?

Paul experienced the vision of the glories of Heaven when he was stoned at Derbe and dragged out for dead during his first missionary journey, around 41 or 42 AD. This fits chronologically with his later writing of II Corinthians about 60 AD.

Les teaches that the stoning at Derbe ties chronologically to Paul’s vision in II Corinthians. Paul was probably in about 41 or 42 AD on that first missionary journey, and he wrote II Corinthians in about 60. So when he was stoned at Derbe and dragged out for dead, he experienced this tremendous opportunity then to see the glories of Heaven. Les thinks it is pretty obvious Paul was out of the body, with the body lying outside Derbe having been stoned, while his soul and spirit took flight and he was caught up to the third heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:2

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
