Is the world full of false ministers today?
Yes. Scripture warns that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, and his ministers appear as ministers of righteousness. The world is full of such deceivers, whose end will be according to their works. Their outward power and shining appearance do not validate them; what is seen and heard must line up with God's Word.
Les explains that these false ministers are transformed as ministers of righteousness, not actually righteous, and their end is eternal doom according to their works. He notes they seem to shine like an angel of light and appear to have power, and says the world is full of it tonight. He quotes an old English Bible scholar who envisioned such people standing before the great white throne, realizing their faith was not what they thought it was. Les urges carefulness: what we see and hear must line up with the Word of God; if it does not, they could be ministers of Satan, who is the angel of light.
