What happens when good men do nothing?

Inaction permits bad things to happen. Satan knows this, so if he can neutralize the Body of Christ, the Church, to where it says nothing, he can have full sway. This is why Satan constantly attacks the Church, where his greatest opposition lies.

Les explains that the saying is absolutely true: when good men do nothing, bad things happen, and Satan operates on that principle. Using II Corinthians 11:3, Les points to how the serpent beguiled Eve through subtlety, corrupting minds from the simplicity in Christ. If Eve symbolizes the Church, the Body of Christ, then Satan is constantly attacking the Church because that is where he has his greatest opposition. His strategy is to neutralize the Body of Christ so it says nothing, giving him full sway. Verse 4 warns of another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel.
