Who proclaimed the gospel of the Kingdom, and to whom?

Jesus and the Twelve proclaimed the gospel of the Kingdom to the nation of Israel. Their ministry was confined within Israel's borders, whereas Paul preached the gospel of Christ, the gospel of grace, and what he called "my gospel." This distinction separates the Kingdom message to Israel from the gospel of Christ Paul preached.

Les explains that the gospel of the Kingdom was proclaimed by Jesus and the Twelve specifically to the nation of Israel, and their ministry was confined within Israel's borders. He contrasts this with the gospel of Christ, the gospel of grace, the gospel of God, and what Paul calls "my gospel." Les notes that most of Christendom today is unknowingly preaching the gospel of the Kingdom rather than the gospel of Christ, and that this vast difference leads many people down a wrong road. Paul, by contrast, says he came preaching the gospel of Christ and was not building on other men's labors or extending the Twelve's work.
