Does God still see the sinner after they are saved, or does He see Christ's righteousness?

Once a person is saved, God does not look upon the old sinner. Instead, He sees that believer clothed in the righteousness of God Himself. God looks on the saved person and sees the righteousness of Christ, not their former sinful identity. This is the righteousness of God in Him.

Les explains that when the righteousness of God is imparted to the believer, it simply means God now sees that person clothed in the righteousness of God Himself. He does not look on the old sinner, whoever that person may be. Instead, God now looks on the believer and sees the righteousness of Christ. Les also notes that many people are afraid of the word righteousness, thinking it means a holiness that makes someone so heavenly minded they are no earthly good, but that is not the case.
