Has God done everything needed for every person's salvation?

Yes. God has done everything every human being ever needed for salvation. Jesus was made lower than the angels, suffered death, and by God’s grace tasted death for every man. He died substitutionally on behalf of every person, paying the price, though many walk it underfoot or fail to believe.

Les teaches from Hebrews 2 that Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, was crowned with glory and honor, and by the grace of God tasted death for every man. He died the death every human being should have had, but He did it substitutionally on their behalf. Les emphasizes what a waste it is that God has done everything every human being ever needed for salvation, yet the vast majority walk it underfoot. He mentions a poll claiming that 50-some percent of Americans are born-again Christians, though he finds that hard to believe and thinks the nation would be different if true. Returning to II Corinthians 5:15, Les explains that since Christ died for all, not everybody enjoys the results of His death because they have not believed. But for those who have believed the Gospel and become spiritually alive, they should not live unto themselves but unto Him who died for them and rose again. He also notes that God does not expect every believer to suffer as the Apostle Paul did.
