Who is God dealing with primarily now that Israel has been set aside?
After Israel rejected the Messiah and was set aside, God is dealing primarily with Gentiles. Individual Jews may still enter the body of Christ, but God is no longer dealing with Israel as a nation as He once did. The Apostle Paul is sent to the Gentiles.
Les explains that once Israel rejected the Messiah and rejected Peter and the Eleven's preaching, God sent Israel back into dispersion, especially after A.D. 70 and the Temple's destruction. In the meantime, God does the opposite: instead of dealing with Israel primarily, He now deals primarily with Gentiles. Jews can still come into the body of Christ individually, but not as a nation as God once dealt with them. Acts 9 shows God saving Saul of Tarsus, the very man trying to destroy Him from Judaism. Ananias is told to send him far hence to the Gentiles, and Paul comes in as the Apostle. Les points to Romans chapter 11 verse 13.
