What offerings did Aaron bring into the holy place?

According to Leviticus 16:3, Aaron was to come into the holy place with a young bullock, described as a young male bull or steer, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. These two animals were the required offerings.

Les teaches from Leviticus chapter 16, where the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron's two sons, who offered strange fire before the Lord and died. The Lord instructed Moses to tell Aaron not to come at all times into the holy place behind the veil, upon the ark of the mercy seat, lest he die, for the Lord would appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. Under the mercy seat was the law, which has no mercy and can only condemn. Then verse 3 specifies that Aaron was to come into the holy place with a young bullock—a young male bull or steer—for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. He was also to put on the holy linen coat, linen breeches, linen girdle, and linen miter, all holy garments.
