Where is the Ark of the Covenant seen in Revelation 11:19?

Revelation 11:19 places the Ark of the Covenant in heaven, within the temple of God. When the temple is opened in heaven, the Ark of His Testament, or Covenant, is seen there, accompanied by lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Les explains that the Ark has been gone since the Babylonian captivity and Nebuchadnezzar’s invasion, with nothing indicating the Babylonians took it. Turning to Revelation 11, during Tribulation events, verses 18 and 19 describe the nations angry, God’s wrath come, the dead judged, rewards given, and destroyers destroyed. Verse 19 then says the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the Ark of His Testament, or Covenant. Les also notes that some claim to know where the Ark is, and Israel will frantically look for it when they rebuild the temple, which is not too far into the future.

Revelation 11:19

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
