What is the high point of all of God's dealing with man?
The high point, epitome, and crescendo of all God's dealing with man centers in the resurrection—not only His death and burial, but His resurrection. This is what sets believers apart, because they have become believers after His resurrection, making the resurrection the climax of God's dealings with humanity.
Les explains that while God set up the seventh-day Sabbath with Israel and later incorporated it into the Ten Commandments, the greater focus is not the Sabbath itself. Turning to Acts chapter 20, he says the very epitome, high point, and crescendo of all of God's dealing with man centers in not only His death, not only His burial, but His resurrection. This resurrection sets believers apart, since they have become believers after His resurrection. Les also parallels God giving the law to Moses at Mount Sinai with his thought that God took Saul of Tarsus from Damascus down to Mount Sinai.
