Where does the Bible show the highest point of God's grace being poured out on a sinner?

The Bible shows the highest point of God's grace poured out on a sinner in the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, later Paul. While Saul was violently persecuting believers, energized by Satan, God confronted him from heaven and extended grace instead of destroying him. This is the epitome of God's grace to a sinful man.

Les explains that Saul of Tarsus was fervent, sincere, and devout, yet he was like a raging bull, energized by Satan to stamp out Jews who had trusted Christ as Messiah. Les points out that the Sovereign God could have simply removed Saul, making him nothing but a grease spot or a memory, but instead God's grace rose to the occasion. Les teaches that this is the epitome, the very high point, of the pouring out of God's grace on a sinful man, because even in his rebellion and Satanic energizing, God extended grace rather than destruction.
