What happened to the Egyptians when Israel crossed the Red Sea?

The waters came back and drowned the Egyptians as Israel crossed the Red Sea. Their bodies floated up on the seashore, and Israel looked back at the view. Moses and the children of Israel then sang the song of Moses, the song of redemption.

Les explains that after Israel crossed the Red Sea, the waters came back and drowned the Egyptians, whose bodies were floating up on the seashore while the Israelis looked back at the view. Moses then brought Israel from the Red Sea down toward Mount Sinai. Chapter 15 opens with “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel,” called the song of Moses. Les says this is the song of redemption, sung when the battles are over and God’s people have attained what He has been bringing them to. He does not read the whole song but encourages studying it, connecting it to Revelation and the eternal state.

Exodus 15:22

So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
