How does a child of God get placed into the body of Christ?

A child of God is placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. This baptism is the only one that counts for eternity, and it applies solely to the true, genuine believer. Unbelievers, being unsaved, cannot be members. Church membership rolls do not place anyone into Christ's body.

Les teaches that only the saved go into the body of Christ; unbelievers cannot be members because they are unsaved. The only baptism that really counts for eternity is the one that places the true, genuine believer into the body of Christ. You can have your name on umpteen church rolls, but unless you are in the body of Christ, you are doomed. If you are a child of God, you are in the body of Christ by virtue of the Holy Spirit placing you there, as Paul makes plain. Within that body, members maintain their individuality and have a unique place, yet they are all one, experiencing a oneness with fellow believers that no other group can know.
