What is the Holy Spirit's work in bringing people to salvation?
The Holy Spirit has been and is doing His work to bring us to the place where we walk through that door by faith. Salvation is always at ground level, not by climbing a high mountain, paying a million dollars, or shaping up; the Spirit's work brings us to enter by faith.
Les explains that the door to the sheepfold was at ground level, and salvation is the same—it is always right at ground level. No one has to climb a high mountain, pay a million dollars, or shape up to be saved. The Holy Spirit has been doing His work, and is doing His work, in order to bring us to the place that we walk through that door by faith.
