How does God speak to people who have never heard the Bible?
According to Romans chapter 1, God speaks to those who have never heard the literal Word through the effect of nature: the starry expanse should lead them to realize there is a Creator to deal with. Titus 2:11 adds that God's grace bringing salvation has appeared to all men.
Les explains that Romans chapter 1 tells us one way God speaks even to pagans and those who have never heard the literal Word of God: through the effect of nature. They should be able to look into the very starry expanse and realize there is a Creator to deal with. He also points to Titus 2:11, where Paul writes that the grace of God which bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, past tense, already done. Les emphasizes that Scripture does not lie, and that the grace of God through the working of the Holy Spirit has appeared unto every human being in one way or another. Even though all have sinned, the way back to God has been made available for every human being.
