How many Christians today actually long for their resurrection body?

Very few Christians today actually long for their resurrection body. The context answers, 'Oh, very few I'm afraid,' though the hope is that this assessment is wrong. Believers should groan earnestly, desiring the resurrection body and the Lord's coming, rather than clinging to this old world.

Les explains that the resurrected body is the believer's prospect: when this old body dies and goes back to corruption, it will be resurrected to a new body fashioned like Christ's. Christ's resurrection body was a human-appearing, eternal body, not flesh and blood but flesh and bone, with the Spirit as the life-giving aspect. Turning to II Corinthians 5, Les notes the groan earnestly, desiring, and asks how many Christians today can say that. He answers, 'Oh, very few I'm afraid,' hoping he is wrong. Every believer, he says, should wake up hoping the Lord will come today and should be getting fed up with this old world, even while loving life and what he is doing.
