What does the grace economy say?

The grace economy stands in the liberty wherewith Christ hath saved us, contrasting with the Law's demands of "Thou shalt" and "Thou shalt not." It does not require works to merit God's favor; instead, it rests on Christ's death and resurrection, which fully satisfied God, so we can trust it completely.

Les teaches that the Law was done away, while grace remains. He calls these two great contrasts: the same God, but two totally different economies. The Law says, "Thou shalt not, Thou shalt," but the grace economy stands in the liberty wherewith Christ hath saved us. Les explains that coming out of legalism and all its demands is glorious, because legalism always instructs you as to what you have to do in order to merit favor with God. Millions shun the Gospel of God's grace, saying they have to work for it, but Les calls that the devil's lie. When Christ died and rose from the dead, God was totally satisfied that it was all we needed, and we can trust it completely.
