Les Feldick Bible Study

What are millions of people doing today in regard to grace and the commandments?

Millions today turn their back on grace, choosing instead self-effort and law-keeping. They say they will do the best they can and keep the commandments, rejecting the operation of grace that replaces the ministration of condemnation. This is presented as a sad commentary on those who prefer legalism over grace.

Les explains that the law could only condemn and that death was its only alternative. But grace has taken its place, and the ministration of righteousness exceeds in glory. Even so, millions today turn their back on grace, saying, "I'll do the best I can, and I'll keep the commandments." By comparison with grace, the glory of legalism is nothing. Les calls this a sad commentary, because they choose law-keeping instead of grace.
