Where were Paul and Titus planning to travel after leaving the area where they were?

Paul and Titus planned to travel around to the northern reaches of Turkey, along the Black Sea region then called Bithynia, and afterward back to Asia. They also arranged to meet at the seaport town of Choas, which was actually the ancient city of Troy.

Les explains that after leaving the area, Paul and Titus intended to go on around to the northern reaches of Turkey, or along the Black Sea, which at that time was called Bithynia, and then hence back to Asia. Because there was no mail, telegraph, phone, or similar communication, Titus and Paul had made an agreement to meet in the seaport town of Choas, actually the ancient city of Troy. Paul says that when he came to Choas to preach Christ's gospel, a door was opened unto him of the Lord, but he had no rest in his spirit because he did not find Titus his brother. Les notes Paul had no way of knowing what had happened to Titus or why he was not at Choas at the set appointed time. At the same time, the Lord came to Paul with something totally different, contrary to what Paul had thought he was going to do.
