Who chose Paul to be an apostle?

Paul was chosen by God. Scripture introduces him as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, not selected by any church on earth. He was set apart by God Himself, showing his apostolic authority came directly from divine appointment.

This establishes that Paul’s authority as an apostle of Jesus Christ came directly from the will of God, not from any ecclesiastical body. The context also notes that Paul writes to the church of God at Corinth and to all the saints in Achaia.
