Why does new technology bring Bible prophecy closer to fulfillment?
Every new technology brings Bible prophecy closer because the Book of Revelation is built on advanced technology. Without computers, the Antichrist could never extend control over every human being on earth. With such tools, he could access data on any individual instantly, and the internet leaves no place to hide.
Les explains that a young banker involved in computer activity said every new technology is bringing the prophecies that much closer, because the whole Book of Revelation is based on our tremendous technology. Les notes that the Antichrist could never put his thumb on every human being on earth without the computer, but with it he could bring up data on an individual in Timbuktu by pushing a button and have everything he wants to know. The internet especially concerns Les because there is no place to hide; they can find anybody, and if they want to find us someday, it will be no problem. He also stresses that we are not in the tribulation yet, but everything is bringing us closer and closer.
