When is Death swallowed up in victory?

Death is swallowed up in victory when the corruptible body puts on incorruption and the mortal puts on immortality, as Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:54. This occurs at the resurrection when believers receive incorruption and immortality, fulfilling the written saying.

Les explains that Paul continues dealing with putting in the grave the corruptible and resurrecting the incorruptible. In verse 54, Paul writes that when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal—the body formed for death—shall have put on immortality, then the saying written is brought to pass: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.' Les also reminds us the rapture is not prophetically announced; we don't know when it will happen, but as the world scene is fulfilled for the final seven years and the Second Coming, we must be ready at least seven years ahead. Thus death is swallowed up in victory at that future resurrection when believers receive incorruption and immortality.

1 Corinthians 15:54

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
