Who was the rapture revealed to?
The Rapture, the Church's meeting in the air, was a secret revealed only to the Apostle Paul. The Old Testament, Jesus, and the Gospel accounts never referred to it; all their end-time references point to the Second Coming, when Christ stands on the Mount of Olives.
Les explains that the Rapture is a secret revealed by and to the Apostle Paul. The rest of the Bible knew nothing about it. All Old Testament, Jesus, and Gospel references to end-time events are directed to the Second Coming, when He will come and stand on the Mount of Olives. The Rapture is the meeting in the air, distinct from the Second Coming. After the Rapture, the final seven years of tribulation begin, associated only with Israel's prophecies, and their ending brings about the Second Coming of Christ.
