Whose trumpets are the seven trumpets in Revelation, and who blows them?

The seven trumpets in Revelation are angelic trumpets, not the singular trump of God. In Revelation chapter 8, seven angels standing before God are given seven trumpets, and those angels blow them. They are distinct from the trumpet of God associated with the rapture in Paul’s teaching.

Les teaches that Revelation chapter 8 presents seven angels who stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets, plural. These are not the trump of God, singular, but angelic trumpets. The angels are going to blow them, and it is seven and not one. Les explains that these seven angelic trumpets cannot be part of the singular trump of God Himself. God has a trumpet reserved for the calling out of the Body of Christ, which is distinct from the Revelation trumpets occurring at about the midpoint.

Revelation 8:2

And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
