What happens to the dead when the last trumpet sounds?

At the last trumpet, the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible. What was sown in corruption is raised in incorruption; the corruptible puts on incorruption and the mortal puts on immortality, transformed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.

Les teaches that at the last trump the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. This is the resurrection of those who have died, and it happens in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. What was sown in corruption will be raised in incorruption. Those who are alive and remain will not die and be resurrected but will be changed. This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal body, prone to death, must put on immortality. It must lose the flesh-and-blood concept and become flesh and bone, activated by the Spirit. Les contrasts this with the Second Coming to the Mount of Olives, which has prophetic events leading up to it; this event has no prophetic sign to indicate its day or year.

1 Corinthians 15:42

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
