How does the first natural then spiritual pattern apply to the Antichrist and Christ?

The first-natural-then-spiritual pattern means the Antichrist, called the man of sin, appears first as the natural, and the true Christ comes afterward as the spiritual. Scripture consistently follows this order, illustrated by Cain and Abel, Ishmael and Isaac, Esau and Jacob, and Saul and David.

Les teaches that all through Scripture there is first the natural and then the spiritual. He calls this one of the rules of God in His manifestation with the human race and one of the laws of Scripture. He illustrates it with Cain the natural and then Abel the spiritual, Ishmael the natural and then Isaac the spiritual, Esau the natural and then Jacob the spiritual, and King Saul the natural and then King David the spiritual. At the very end of the Book, the same pattern applies: the appearance of the Antichrist, the man of sin, is the natural, and then comes the true Christ, the spiritual. Paul makes mention of this, and the first man Adam was earthy, made of the earth and returning to the earth.
