What happens to creation when the curse is lifted?
When the curse is lifted, all creation enters into a glorious dominion under Christ's rule and reign. Creation itself is aware of His coming and restoration, having waited for the curse to be removed. Believers will be joint heirs with Christ in this restored order, as creation returns to its original state.
Les explains that all creation is aware of His coming and of His restoring everything as it was at the beginning. Even rocks and mountains are aware of God's coming and ruling. He points to Luke 19:39-40, where Jesus said if the disciples held their peace, the stones would cry out, showing the Creator knows what creation is capable of. In Psalms 148, Les says creation sees the rapture of believers and knows it is only a little while until the curse is lifted. Then creation will enter into that glorious dominion under Christ's rule and reign, and believers will be joint heirs with Him.
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
