What happens after all things are put under Christ according to 1 Corinthians 15:28?
According to 1 Corinthians 15:28, after all things are subdued under Christ, the Son Himself becomes subject to the One who put all things under Him. At that point, Christ gives everything up to the Godhead, and God becomes all in all.
Les explains that when all things—principalities, powers, kingdoms, and even death—are subdued under Christ’s supreme rule, there comes a point in time, perhaps at the onset of eternity, when the Son also subjects Himself to Him who put all things under Him. The stated purpose is that God may be all in all. Les notes that after Christ has put everything under His feet and has become all in all, a day still comes when even Christ evidently gives everything up to the Godhead.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
