Les explains through the example of a young man working in one of our large banks. When asked about the people he worked with, he said they did not even want to listen; they had their head in the sand and did not want to pull them out. Les says this is typical: most people do not want to hear, just want to keep going, and as long as the checking account is healthy, they are driving a nice car, and have a nice home, they do not care about eternity. But Les warns they had better care, because it is coming, and no bank account will help anyone escape it.
