How is exploding technology related to the end time?
Exploding technology is rapidly bringing the world to the end-time scenario. The prophecies of Scripture could not be fulfilled without it, so this technology is necessary. Yet it also signals that the end is near, showing the world is being prepared for those final prophetic events.
Les explains that all this amazing exploding technology is bringing the whole world so rapidly to the scenario of the end time. He notes that the prophecies of the Book could never be fulfilled without the technology that is exploding; it is necessary, yet it is the very thing that tells us the end is near. Alongside this explosion of secular knowledge, Les sees a greater understanding of the Scriptures in these last days, because God is the keeper of secrets. He cites Deuteronomy 29, 29, that the secret things belong unto the Lord our God, and says God has kept things secret but is now revealing them as we approach the end of the age. So knowledge is not limited to the secular world but also extends to spiritual understanding of God's Word.
